What’s Your Retirement Gonna Look Like? You Decide — ‘Cuz It’s YOUR Life

Whether you’re 35 or 55 — retiring at 45 or 85 — It’s your life. It’s a cliché, but nonetheless true, our lives are nothing if not what we make them. And since we’re only here once, why don’t we make the best of it? When we plan for our retirement, sometimes we forget it can be pretty much what we’re willing to pay for by way of commitment. How many huge, gorgeous trees have we seen in our lives without stopping to think how many decades it took to make that moment for us possible? Commitment.

Think of all the things you’ve accomplished, big and small. They all began with a thought, your thought. Think what your retirement will, not should, look like. Keep your mind on that thought and pay attention to the video. It’s a well known song by a famous artist, but I’ve always believed it’s been a kind of anthem due to it’s message.

Watch it, listen closely, and while the words sink in, think of what your retirement will look like. Betcha yer smilin’ when it’s over.
