What’s The Profile Of Our Real Estate Investor Clients? Cheesecake vs Day-Old Bread

Throwing out the low and high ends of the scale, the typical Brown and Brown client is easily described as Regular Folk. Sure we get the low end newbie, able to begin minimally, and the ones with several hundred grand to start plus equities in umpty ump properties to trade. But 70-80% of our clients begin with $50-100,000 on up to around $300,000 give or take a few bucks. And they’re all regular folks just like you and me.

They’re usually married, but not always — a sizable minority are not. They make $45-150,000 a year, sometimes more, rarely less. They fall into the 42-55 age bracket, although those younger and older than that range are well represented. They’re all old enough to realize their future shouldn’t rely in any way, shape, or form on a toss of the dice. Duh.

Dice

Almost all own a home, and almost all with a mortgage. Though most have a retirement plan at work, usually a 401(k), rarely is there more than $30-90,000 in them. This fact alone is what gets so many to begin thinking more seriously about the retirement. Contemplating living post-retirement on the income generated by a couple hundred grand isn’t exactly the catalyst leading to a good night’s sleep, know what I mean, Verne?

Geographically our clients are spread from coast to coast. Heck, we even have a client from India. Filed under the ’small world’ label, that client graduated from the same high school my kids attended just down the street. Go figure.

Anywho, the point is, where yer from isn’t an issue. If we can make it so an investor in India can buy property in Texas while dealin’ with us here in San Diego, wherever you live will be a piece of cake. ‘Course, you won’t hafta drive for hours to get loan docs taken care of, like our Indian client. That guy’s a champ with a capital ‘C’.

Chocolate chip cookies

We make so you don’t ever lose yer cookies.

One of our newest clients is from Indy and has a job which puts him on the road a lot. But there he is, talkin’ to the lender we’ve assigned him while going from appointment to appointment. It doesn’t matter a hill of beans where yer from. Gotta cell? Email? Scanner? You too can be an investor. With us behind you, your location is irrelevant.

The #1 common denominator is the desire for the best retirement possible. They start from different levels of capital, age, salaries, you name it. But their eyes are on the same prize — a magnificently abundant retirement. Strawberry cheesecake

How is that defined? The more options you have at retirement, the larger your menu, the better retirement you’ve created for yourself. Also the better the choices on the menu. Doesn’t cheesecake with strawberry sauce beat day-old bread? Sure it does.

Let’s create some options together. Starting now beats the you know what outa starting ’some time’. If you’re over 40 and think maybe there’s a better way, you’re on to something. Go with it. Click the link, which will take you to my Contact BawldGuy form thingy.

Next thing ya know we’ll be laughin’ and scratchin’ about how cool your retirement’s gonna be now.
