I’m a contributor to another real estate related blog, BloodhoundBlog, whose owner asked me a couple hours ago to try and find two other San Diego area contributors. He hadn’t been able to locate them, (he lives/works in Phoenix) and was a little worried. I located them, and they and their families are fine.
I encourage you to go read the post I quickly put together there. If you’re from around here, that is, San Diego, I would greatly appreciate it if you have anything to add, to please do so in the form of a comment on my BloodhoundBlog post. Folks around the country with friends and family here, would forever be in your debt if you can give them more or less current information.

As of around 8:30 tonight, 500 homes and 100 businesses have burned to the ground.
The up to date percentage of containment of the north county fire is — 0%.
We need Devine intervention. Please remember San Diego in your prayers.
