It’s Been A Year — Happy Birthday!

It was surprising to notice my very first post was a year ago today. Greg Swan picked it up and tracked back to me. I was confused to the max. How did some guy get into my comments in that way?
Greg has been a huge help to me, and a generous man with his knowledge and time. Greg, thank you from the bottom of my Bawld heart.
Daily guidance for the past several months has been provided by Liz Strauss who, in my opinion is tough to beat as a blog mentor. Anyone blogging knows being rated in the top 1,500 is no mean feat. She’s shared her wisdom and expertise with me in ways I almost always understand — at least eventually. The results have been beyond what I ever thought possible.
If you’ve ever seen a world class hitting instructor in baseball watch a young hitter, then make a quiet suggestion or two, you’ll know what I’m talking about. You then get to watch the young player begin spraying line-drives all over the park, as he becomes more and more excited with his progress. That’s what Liz does.
Thanks to Sean Robinson, my designer and host. This blog works seamlessly day in and day out, and it’s all due to Sean. He’s not my first, but he’s certainly my last. If you’re looking to maybe find a new host or change your design, I recommend Sean without reservation. He’s the man.
Thank you over and over to all my readers. I appreciate where you’re coming from, and look forward to talking with some of you. You’re the best.
That’s pretty much all I have for today.
I did though, want to link you to my very first post. I reread it yesterday and chuckled. I thought maybe you might get a smile from it yourself. It was BP — Before Pictures. ![]()
Here’s the link — be kind. I wrote it, read it, and pressed ‘publish’.
