You know what kind of retirement you’d like your real estate investments to provide. You know your current overall financial position. So what keeps your retirement dream alive? What feeds that dream so it works hard and diligently to become reality? Does your dream retirement home remain in your imagination?

Dreams need constant nourishment and attention because of their nature. You see, dreams are like workhorses plowing the fields of our future. They know what we want to harvest and are trying to make it happen. Workhorses do best when they’re properly harnessed to the right tools, treated well, and fed regularly. Dreams thrive when their nourishment comes from a Purposeful Plan. Nothing replaces doing things on purpose, like nothing replaces the daily feedbag.

Of course, the following set of steps is merely the short version of a major concept, but follow them and you’ll be well on your way to achieving your retirement dream.

  • Know where you are today
  • Decide exactly what you want your retirement to look like
  • Construct a realistic Purposeful Plan to make that retirement happen
  • Be able to adjust the Plan on the run when circumstances change
  • Arrange for a large Sominex Account — cash reserves.
  • BawldGuy Axiom: Retirement dreams not nurtured will fade to nothing.

Grandma once told me of a farmer who learned this lesson the hard way. It seems about the time he got the old mare to work without eating, she died.

Feed your dreams. Start by dropping me a note. I love helping people keep their dreams alive.

    • Reading this, I hear this in my head…. “Set your goals… Look at them often… create your vision board, put it in a place where you look at it often. Stay focused.”
      Thanks!!!
