A Final Goodbye — Shake Rattle ‘n Roll!

Posted @ 6:49 pm - Filed under Sez Me, Off The Cuff

Whenever Dad was about to leave for a night on the town, he’d get himself revved up by doing his version of Bill Haley’s Rock ‘n Roll classic — Shake Rattle ‘n Roll! Every time I hear it I see him dancin’ in the living room ready to go out and tear the town a new one. So turn up the volume and get ready to rev it up one more time.

  • Jeff,
Thank-you for this memory of Dad. I had forgotten and it brought a smile to my face to read this.

  • Robbin!! So you remember him doin’ that too?

I remember Sharon laughin’ in the background, knowing she was in for a fun night.

It’s so nice to hear from you.
